Job Description

No experience necessary! Mears Fertilizer, Inc. provides on-the-job training to operate our custom designed portable mixing equipment that is used to make liquid fertilizer on-site at customer facilities. Mears Fertilizer provides company-paid travel incentives, including travel differential pay, accommodations for travel, lodging, per diem for meals and other travel expenses. Basic Job Duties: Turn valves to regulate flow of liquids, gases, or air; take routine readings; read gauges, temperatures, pressures and flows; make adjustments as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical ability to be able to do minor repairs and perform basic scheduled maintenance
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to safely carry 50 pounds while climbing stairs
• Ability to kneel, squat, and twist 90 degrees
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols
• Must have a valid driver`s license
• Applicant must have or be able to acquire a Class A CDL
• Willing to work weekends and evenings while traveling
• Travel up to 40%
